A multiple award-winning singer/songwriter, Jean has been referred to as “The spiritual essence of the west”, and she shares her love of western life through her songs about the real west of yesterday and today.  Her critically acclaimed and heartfelt cowgirl persona along with a dozen CDs to her credit sum up the music of Jean Prescott!
 
Jean and her husband Gary, received the 2018 IWMA Album of the Year Award for their latest CD, “Satisfied Hearts”  And, Jean and co-writer Darrell Arnold received Traditional Cowboy Song of the Year accolades for their song “The Pitchfork Grays”.  Between the two of them, they garnered 9 top five nominations for 2018 IWMA Awards!  You can find them listed on the “Awards” page.
 
Jean also received the 2018 Western Writers of America Spur Award for she and Darrell Arnold’s song “The Pitchfork Grays” and Jean received runner-up accolades for “The Ridge”.
